LOCATION: 58th and Indiana St, Golden
ABOUT THE KIDS: Care is mainly for a little lady born late-May of this year. Dad has two children from a previous marriage, 9 and 7 years old. Occasionally the nanny would be responsible for them as they spend half the week with their mom.
HOURS NEEDED: Guaranteed 25 hours per week, 100 hours per month. Mom and Dad are both ER doctors, therefore their schedule changes week to week. They can guarantee a minimum of 25 hours per week. The nanny would never work more than 10 hours per day although the start and end times change day to day. Potentially they could need someone early mornings and get off early or start late and needed to stay late. In addition, they will need weekends and weekdays. In the event the nanny works on one of the major holidays (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day) the nanny will receive holiday pay of time and a half. The schedule will be provided at least 4 weeks in advance. The family has offered to share the past several months’ schedule to show the nanny what the typical schedule could look like.
PAY RATE: $18-$20 per hour; taxes are negotiable
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Simply tidying up after the days’ activities is the only requirement.
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR: Starting September 1st, the family is looking for a minimum of a year commitment with a responsible and reliable nanny. As medical professionals, reliability and being punctual is key. The perfect nanny is someone who is kind, experienced, active and playful. The parents encourage time outside, especially when the older children are home. Mom and Dad envision their perfect nanny as someone who really loves being a nanny and thoroughly enjoy children. They are open to a nanny mom as long as a nanny can commit to the hours/schedule and can be at work on time the days they need (I.E if the nanny or nanny’s little one is ill, the nanny is still responsible for them coming). The older children enjoy arts and crafts, reading, playing outside and playing with friends. For the most part, they are independent little humans! It is important to know the older children have 50/50 custody with their parents. Both sets of parents have a wonderful and communicative relationship; there are never any issues between them. Occasionally the nanny will be responsible for taking the older children to or from school.
COMMENTS: The family is happy to offer paid time off as long as it is scheduled in advance. A safe and reliable vehicle to use on the job is mandatory. The family has a very well-behaved dog- if the nanny is comfortable with occasional walks or feeding the pup that would be great! Because this is a dual-medical-professional family, immunizations are required.Click here to apply
