LOCATION: Orchard and Quebec, in the DTC area, Denver
ABOUT THE KIDS: Two young men, 2 years old and 10 months old
HOURS NEEDED: 140 hours per month minimally. Dad travels internationally, therefore the family is looking for a nanny who can be flexible with the weekly schedule. They can guarantee at least 140 hours per month. The schedule can change depending on Dad’s work schedule but the schedule will be provided at least 2-4 weeks in advance. The family needs care Monday through Friday. The nanny will never be needed earlier than 7:30/8 am or later than 7:30/8 pm. The nanny will not be working all the hours; on average about 35 hours per week.
PAY RATE: $550-$700 per week, taxes are negotiable. Higher salary is negotiable based on experience and flexibility.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Responsibilities include tidying up after the days’ activities; cleaning up after meal times, preparing nutritious meals for the children, occasional laundry help, etc.
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR: These new Denver transplants are looking for a nanny who is flexible, dependable and able to start as soon as possible! The family is looking for a long-term commitment with a nanny who is experienced, confident, communicative, loving, nurturing and trustworthy. Mom and Dad are looking for a nanny who will jump in and be proactive throughout the day. The perfect nanny is someone who will see a task and take initiative to complete it. The boys do best with a consistent and structured routine. Since these young men have had some big changes (they just relocated to Colorado from New York!), consistency and structure is key. The perfect nanny is someone with a go-getter attitude, calm, honest, positive, fun, punctual and communicative. A huge benefit if the nanny spoke Spanish, but not required. It is important to know the nanny will mainly be responsible for only one child at a time. The oldest will be going to preschool and Mom is home to help if needed. There will be times the nanny will be responsible for both boys.
COMMENTS: The oldest child has an egg allergy. The family will train the nanny about his allergy and what to do if he has an allergic reaction. This is a salaried position; the nanny will be paid for anytime childcare is not needed. A safe and reliable vehicle is required to use on the job. If the nanny was open to occasional overnights that would be a plus! The nanny must be current on vaccinations.Click here to apply
