ABOUT THE LITTLE: Happy and healthy baby girl welcomed early March of this year. She is a great sleeper and an even better eater! Mom is exclusively breastfeeding, but baby has no problem taking the bottle. If the nanny would like to take the Infant Feeding Certification webinar, the family is open to paying for the course.
HOURS NEEDED: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8 am to 4pm. It’s an option to have longer days Monday-Thursday with a shorter day on Friday if preferred.
PAY RATE: $17-$19 per hour
START DATE: August 27th
COMMITMENT LENGTH: At least a 6-month commitment
PETS: The family has 2 cats and a dog. No responsibilities are related to the pets.
VEHICLE/TRANSPORTATION NEEDS: A vehicle is not required; if the nanny wants to take the baby on outings when she’s older, Mom’s car is available for use.
- Warm, loving, interactive and enthusiastic.
- Experience with infants.
- Ability to recognize and follow baby’s cues. Mom and Dad follow a baby-led style although keeping naps consistent is very important.
- Tidy up after the days’ activities, including washing the baby’s bottles.
WISH LIST ITEMS (NOT MANDATORY):
- Experience or knowledge with baby led weaning. This is not a deal breaker as long as the nanny is willing to learn.
PAID TIME OFF: Guaranteed salary, additional paid time off is negotiable.
VACCINATION POLICY: Current on vaccinations is required.
DO THE PARENTS WORK FROM HOME: Mom works from her separate home office. She looks forward to the ability to interact with the baby as well as breastfeed throughout the day. The perfect nanny is someone who is willing and comfortable to work with Mom.
COMFORTABLE WITH A NANNY MOM: After careful consideration, Mom and Dad feel a nanny mom would not be the best fit.Click here to apply
