LOCATION: Youngfield and W. 32nd Ave., Lakewood
ABOUT THE KIDS: Two little fellas, 5 years and almost 3 years
HOURS NEEDED: Approximately 40 hours every two weeks. The schedule is a little unique but a fantastic option for someone who is not looking for a full-time position or someone who is working another job. The first week the nanny will be needed Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12:45/1 pm to 10:30 pm (the very latest, most likely a little earlier). The second week the nanny is needed Wednesdays 12:45/1 pm to 10:30 pm. The family can offer additional hours on Friday if the nanny desires. During the summer months, the nanny has the option to keep the hours the same or increase hours by coming in at 8:45 am and staying until 10:30 pm. This is an option but not required; hours can stay the same throughout the commitment.
PAY RATE: $15 to $17 per hour, taxes are not withheld
ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Additional duties are pertaining to the children only. Any tasks pertaining to the children such as preparing meals and snacks, the children’s laundry and cleaning up after the days’ activities. The nanny will need to encourage the boys to pick up after themselves but help with whatever they cannot do on their own.
WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR: These two loving and dedicated moms are looking for a long-term commitment with a reliable, mature, punctual active and playful nanny to start as soon as possible. They are open to a nanny mom and welcome a playmate for their sons. A typical day during the school year looks like this: 12:45/1 pm the nanny will be responsible for picking up for the youngest at school. Brought home for a nap and the oldest will be picked up at 4 pm. From there, playing and engaging with the boys, preparing dinner for them, wrapping up the day with bath and the bedtime routine. The nanny does need to be aware the oldest has sever food allergies and the nanny needs to be cautious of what he eats. These active young men love playing outside, reading and doing puzzles. The nanny would be responsible for interacting with the boys, keeping safety in mind and providing quality care. The perfect candidate is someone who is communicative, positive, upbeat, proactive, self-managing and an independent worker. The nanny will be needed to help with simple communication to and from the boys’ teachers. The mommas follow a Love and Logic style, fostering choices.
COMMENTS: Occasionally Mom works from when she’s not traveling. She will be in and out throughout the day and will be working out of her office. They have two dogs that will be needed to let in and out and fed twice per day. A safe and reliable vehicle to use on the job is required as school drop off and pickups are a big portion of the job.Click here to apply
