WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR: This active, outdoorsy family is looking for a long-term, full-time nanny to care for their two children. The family is looking for at least a one year commitment with a reliable, engaged nanny. Ideally, this position starts at the end of March! They would love the nanny to become a part of their family. Dad is a pilot and mom works a usual work week. The nanny would be responsible for taking and picking up the 3-year-old to a nearby preschool three days a week. His school starts at 7:45 am and he can be picked up at 3 pm. The school is less than a mile away; the nanny will be compensated for mileage. Their son will be home during the summer and his school hours could potentially shift next fall. Regardless of his school hours, the nanny is guaranteed the same salary every week. This family would like a nanny willing to provide structure and offer age appropriate activities. They are looking for a punctual, loving, caring nanny who will plan activities, outings and engage the baby throughout the day. The family is only interested in a nanny that can offer stimulation and a learning environment. It is important to the family a nanny is willing to teach and interact with the baby on a daily basis. They want someone knowledgeable with age appropriate milestones, activities and development. Having sleep training experience or willing to be patient while the baby is learning to sleep independently is required. The family would like the nanny to keep a detailed nanny journal and have open and honest communication with them.
COMMENTS: Safe and reliable transportation to use on the job is a must. The nanny will be offered paid holidays, paid sick days and 3 weeks of paid vacation time. It is important to know Mom occasionally works from her home office in the basement. She wants to assure candidates she respects their authority and will not step in but instead, foster healthy and respectable boundaries.Click here to apply
