LOCATION: Indiana & 6th Ave., Golden (close to the Golden/Lakewood border)
ABOUT THE LITTLE: Easy going and happy baby boy, born mind-September of this year. Baby thrives with an eat-play-sleep routine and Mom and Dad would like the nanny to continue that. Assistance with sleep training and implementing a schedule would be a wonderful benefit! This baby boy is exclusively breastfed. The nanny must have knowledge with breastmilk handling, storage and preparation. Baby has no issues taking a bottle but because he can tend to be an aggressive eater, they utilize the Paced Feeding method.
HOURS NEEDED: 36 hours per week, willing to ad more hours per week if needed. Four days a week; Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, the 4th day could alternate between Wednesday or Thursday. Ideally the family hopes to have a set schedule but it’s ideal if the nanny can be flexible with the 4th work day.
PAY RATE: $17-$20 per hour, taxes are withheld
START DATE: Ideal start date would be January 15th. The nanny could start sooner if needed.
COMMITMENT LENGTH: A long-term commitment preferred, but no less than a 6-month commitment required.
PETS: No pets in the home. Mom has significant allergies and asthma issues if exposed to pet hair or smoke. Therefore, the nanny must be diligent not to bring any type of pet hair into their home (IE if the nanny has a cat, that’s fine, jut use a lent brush before coming to work!). This goes without saying, but a nonsmoker is a must!
VEHICLE/TRANSPORTATION NEEDS: A safe and reliable vehicle to use on the job is a necessity. Pre-approved outings and adventures are ok as long as Mom and Dad know about it beforehand.
REQUIREMENTS: As new parents, Mom and Dad are looking for the perfect nanny who can work together for the better good of their son.
- Experienced; willing to partner with Mom and Dad, supporting these new parents, and helping them learn too!
- Encourage age appropriate milestones and development.
- Willing to keep a daily nanny journal with activities, feeding times, nap times, etc.
- Helping with baby’s laundry.
- Tidying up after the days’ activities, including washing bottles, picking up toys, etc.
WISH LIST ITEMS (NOT MANDATORY): Knowledge with baby sign would be a bonus! Double points if the nanny can teach Mom and Dad too!
PAID TIME OFF: Major holidays will be paid days off, additional paid time off is negotiable.
VACCINATION POLICY: The nanny must be current on vaccinations, including a TDAP and flu vaccine.
DO THE PARENTS WORK FROM HOME: No.
COMFORTABLE WITH A NANNY MOM: No.
COMMENTS: If Jefferson County School district has a snow day, the nanny will receive that day as a paid day off.Click here to apply
