LOCATION: 20th and Dexter, Park Hill, Denver
ABOUT THE LITTLES: Two children: a 2-year-old spunky and happy little girl, and a 3-month-old cuddly little boy. The oldest is in preschool part-time and will only need care one day per week. Their newest addition loves being worn! Mom is exclusively breastfeeding therefore the nanny must be knowledgeable with breastmilk handling, storage and preparation.
HOURS NEEDED: Approximately 19-20 hours per week. For the first few months, the nanny will be needed Mondays 8 am to 5/5:30 pm and Tuesdays 1-6 pm. Then Tuesdays will transition to a longer day: 7:30 am to 6 pm. Mondays the nanny will be responsible for both children. Tuesdays care is for the youngest only.
PAY RATE: $17-$20 per hour, taxes are negotiable.
START DATE: The nanny could start as soon as early December or after the first of the year. The family is willing to be flexible with the start date.
COMMITMENT LENGTH: The family is looking for a long-term commitment as they foresee needing the nanny for several years.
PETS: An easy going Golden Retriever. She might need to be let in and out throughout the day. If the nanny wanted to incorporate the dog on walks that would be great but not mandatory.
VEHICLE/TRANSPORTATION NEEDS: Although the nanny will not need to drive with the children for the first several months, a safe and reliable vehicle to use on the job is needed. It’s possible the nanny will be asked to help with preschool pickups later on. Anytime the nanny is driving with the children, mileage will be compensated.
REQUIREMENTS: The family does not have a specific parenting philosophy, instead taking tidbits of several philosophies and choosing what works best for their family. They are attentive and follow the children’s cues. They prefer not to let the children cry for long periods of time. Schedule is helpful but not strict.

- Encouraging walkable adventures!
WISH LIST ITEMS (NOT MANDATORY):

- Language immersion and baby sign would be great but not required!
PAID TIME OFF: The family will pay the nanny regardless if they do not need care. Additional paid time off is negotiable based on the nanny’s request.
VACCINATION POLICY: Current on vaccinations, including an annual flu shot, is required.
SICK POLICY: In the event the children or nanny has a minor illness, the parents expect the nanny to work. If the illness is contagious or more serious, they prefer the nanny to come in.
DO THE PARENTS WORK FROM HOME: No, both parents work out of the home.
COMFORTABLE WITH A NANNY MOM: This position is looking for a traditional, non-nanny mom.
